BIOGRAPHY
LOGIC LOST is the experimental electronic project of Jakarta-based artist Dylan Amirio. Rooted in the chaotic sonic overload of Southeast Asian urban sprawl, the project crafts a visceral blend of techno, gabber, drone, and industrial noise as a way to address the anxieties of urban modernity in Indonesia and the Global South.
For over a decade, Logic Lost has operated at the radical edges of sound, using abrasion not as an aesthetic, but as a tool to deconstruct power structures, memory, and social decay. The project is deeply embedded in Indonesian socio-political narratives, translating the dissonance of everyday life into immersive, cathartic experiences that blur the line between protest and ritual.
As an artist, Dylan has run Logic Lost since 2015 and has released various albums which employ different sounds, styles, and themes from the IDM-inspired escapist rhythms of Runaway (2015), the trauma-addressing ambient downtempo of Forgive Yourself (2018), the dark, brooding Hero Worship (2020), and the aggressive industrial atmospheres on humanity of Degenerates (2022).
His most recent album, Disposable Gods, was released in 2025 under Avon Terror Corps (UK) and is built around the themes of power and its role in the human psyche.
Logic Lost has put out releases on Orange Cliff Records (Indonesia), Sonido Atmosferico (Argentina), Blank.Orb (Indonesia), DEAD Records (Indonesia), Sprechen (UK), and Tandem Tapes (Australia).
Aside from being a performing musician, Dylan has also toured and played as a DJ and has worked on commissioned art projects.
